Wilmington Christian Academy will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender, age, or disability in the hiring of its certified or non-certified personnel.

All employees will have background checks completed prior to employment. BCI and FBI background checks will be required per Ohio Revised Code 3319. Once employed, a FBI check will be required every five (5) years. The results are sent to the Ohio Department of Education for all teaching staff and the school receives results from the background checks for all employees. WCA follows Ohio Revised Code for all categories of employees and volunteers to be properly screened for employment/volunteering where supervision of children is required.
